This is the first live action adaptation of the popular manga and anime series by Aoyama Gosho to celebrate the 10th year anniversary of the series and is the prequel to the current storyline. Shown in October 2006, Meitantei Conan is by Yomiuri TV and stars Oguri Shun (who doesn’t know him, anyway?), Kurokawa Tomoka (Kagen no Tsuki – Last Quarter) and Takanori Jinnai (Ikeuchi Aya’s dad in 1 Litre of Tears).
