Oricon Poll: Celebs that look best as beach side staff
Many people enjoy swimming at the beach during summer vacation and during consecutive holidays. Aside from swimming, people also enjoy eating watermelon by the seaside, playing with a beach ball, and eating kakigoori (shaved ice with flavored syrup) and yakisoba in beachside huts.
With this, Oricon polled 1,000 people (Oricon employees, students, people ages 20s-40s) and asked them which celebrities would look best as beach hut staff.
Male celebrities
1. Hayami Mokomichi – He is fresh, tanned and look really good beside the sea.
2. Yamaguchi Tomomitsu – It is so ‘him’ to wear an Aloha shirt while working.
3. Sakaguchi Kenji – For his surfing skill.
4. Kimura Takuya - Also for his surfing skill.
5. Fukuyama Masaharu - Because he always makes it to the Oricon polls! Wahaha!
Yamaguchi Tatsuya
Koike Teppei
Female celebrities
1. Wakatsu Chinatsu – For her ‘genki’ aura, bright personality and cute face.
2. Hamasaki Ayumi – She said once in a TV show that she wanted to work in a beachside house.
3. Koda Kumi – For her sexiness.
4. Hoshino Aki – Also for her sexiness.
5. Aragaki Yui – Maybe because she’s Okinawan?

Synopsis: |
|
| Hero tells of the story of Kuryu Kohei (Kimura Takuya), a former high school delinquent who became a public prosecutor.
This TV-shopping addict is transferred from Aomori to Tokyo, where he is coldly greeted by new colleagues who doubt his ability to perform his duties. The business suit-averse Kuryu may appear unprofessional at first glace, favoring jeans and shirts with cheesy slogans to dark coats and slacks. He also has a very unorthodox way of working, choosing to personally investigate his cases rather than relying solely on the police. He is given a zealous (but initially unwilling) law clerk Amamiya Maiko (Matsu Takako) as his personal assistant. By combining book smart (Amamiya) and street smart (Kuryu), they solve cases involving characters like corrupt parliament members and petty underwear thieves and eventually, Kuryu gains the respect and admiration of his superiors and colleagues. The ending theme is Can you keep a secret? by Utada Hikaru, who also makes a cameo appearance on Episode 8. She was that waitress at the restaurant where Kuryu and the female lawyer had dinner. |
